Public Transport

Public Transport services within the Stanthorpe Region, while adequate to service the town on a day to day basis, are very limited in terms of coping with the large crowds that visit us during the Apple & Grape Harvest Festival.  There is no public bus or train network and Taxi Services are limited.  Some tour operators will arrange a limited bus service.  To enquire about scheduled times and service routes, please contact the Festival Office on 4681 4111.  You may wish to organise a 'designated driver' ahead of time to ensure you are able to get to your destination wherever and whenever you wish throughout the Festival weekend.

Please come prepared with all prescribed medication you may require during your visit.  While Stanthorpe has two excellent Chemists, limited service times apply throughout the Festival weekend.  Additionally, the exact prescription medication that you require may not be held in stock.
