STRONG SPONSORSHIP SUPPORT

The Apple and Grape Harvest Festival committee is delighted with businesses’ response to its local sponsorship drive.

After discussions with numerous businesses, Festival directors Max Hunter and Ray Zanatta have received generous commitments of support for key festival events.

Sponsoring businesses confirmed include I & L Rizzato & Sons, Nicoletti Orchards, Taylor Family Produce, Golden Grove Estate, Ballandean Estate Wines, Maddie’s Gift Gallery, Poole’s Produce, Solomons Flooring Toowoomba, and Stanthorpe Swimming Club.

Other local businesses have indicated support for the festival and are expected to sign on as sponsors soon.

“The festival committee thanks all the businesses who support the festival, including those who have already committed financial and in-kind support,” Mr Hunter said.

“By supporting the festival, they are recognising the major contribution the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival makes to the local economy, promotion of the region and its local produce, and community spirit.

“Their contributions will help the festival committee to present a great program including the Multicultural Food Festival and Wine Fiesta, Street Carnival performers, youth entertainment,  Apple Day, mid-week food and wine events in Farley Piazza and the main street, and the new “Banchetto Italiano”.

“We’ll be talking to more local businesses in coming weeks about opportunities to become a festival sponsor.  Businesses who wish to support the festival but have not yet been contacted are welcome to contact us.”

A prospectus for potential sponsors, outlining opportunities to financially support a specific event, is currently available from the Festival office in (4681 4111).  Festival supporters may choose to become a sole sponsor or team with others to co-sponsor an event.
