Channel 7 celebrities Livio Regano and Bridget Adams will be celebrity guests at the 2018 Apple and Grape Harvest Festival.

As Channel 7 meteorologist and weather presenter since 2006, Livio is familiar to viewers across Queensland, keeping viewers up to date with forecasts, with a frequent nod to the Granite Belt as the coldest region in the state.

The weeknight news bulletin is the flagship news service of Seven Queensland with Livio presenting nightly weather bulletins in Cairns, Townsville, Central Queensland, Mackay, Wide Bay, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.

Livio views weather presenting as one of his greater educational challenges – making a tough scientific subject comprehensible to each community in just a two and a half minute segment.

Livio was a popular guest at the 2016 Apple & Grape Harvest Festivals in various roles including the fun event, the Queensland Grape Crushing Championships.

Joining Livio at the festival this year is Queensland Weekender presenter Bridget Adams.

Bridget’s Queensland Weekender role takes her to events and locations across the state, exploring the ideal destinations for locals and visitors.

Her visit to the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival will allow her to experience the fun of events such as the Channel 7 Grand Parade, Queensland Grape Crushing Championships, Multicultural Music Festival and more.

Prior to joining Queensland Weekender, Bridget criss-crossed the globe for 10 years as a reporter for 7’s The Great Outdoors.

Both Livio and Bridget will be attending events on the main weekend of the festival (3-4 March).

Livio and Bridget will attend the 2018 Apple and Grape Harvest Festival as representatives of festival partner Channel 7.

Festival president Greg Thouard said the festival was delighted to continue its long association with Channel 7.

“As a festival partner, Channel 7 will be screening festival promotion over the coming weeks as well as sponsoring the 2018 Grand Parade,” he said.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Livio back to the 2018 Festival and introducing Bridget to everything that the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival and the Granite Belt have to offer.

“We hope that our festival visitors will also enjoy meeting and chatting to Livio and Bridget during the Festival main weekend (3-4 March).”
