Chalk Artist

  • Stanthorpe Post Office 144 High St Stanthorpe, QLD, 4380 Australia (map)

Talented Amelia Batchelor is back by popular demand, to create a 3D Chalk Art drawing on the footpath outside the Post Office. Proudly supported by Anna’s Restaurant, Amelia’s three dimension drawing will be available for everyone to enjoy over the festival and for many months to come. Amelia left the corporate graphic design/multimedia world over ten years ago to concentrate on creating artworks across many disciplines including painting, sculpture, illustration and murals. In 2007 she discovered chalk while looking to learn more about drawing and became enthralled in using her art to interact with the public.

The Footpath Chalk Art installation will be a surprise and perhaps you can drop by to guess what is about to develop.  Amelia is working-up a special treat and we just can’t wait.  School groups are especially welcome to watch the installation in progress.
