Train: Warwick to Stanthorpe

  • Southern Downs Steam Railway Corner Hamilton & Fitzroy Streets Warwick (map)

The Southern Downs Steam Railway invite you to travel to the Apple & Grape Festival in style with a train trip from Warwick to Stanthorpe & return.

The train departs Warwick at 8am and departs Stanthorpe at 3:30pm to arrive in Warwick at 6pm. Bookings essential, this is sure to be a popular trip. Book directly with the Southern Downs Steam Railway.

This train will continue on to Wallangarra after dropping revellers at Stanthorpe.

Note: it is planned that there will be a steam engine pulling the train on Saturday the 3rd  March and a diesel engine pulling the train on Sunday the 4th March. This may change depending on the state of the engine and fire weather. If there is a high fire danger, heat or strong winds steam engines cannot operate and will be replaced with the diesel engine.

This is not an official Apple & Grape Festival event. We include its listing for visitors travelling from Warwick for the festival.

The Southern Downs Steam Railway Association Inc (SDSR) is a volunteer, not-for-profit tourist heritage steam railway.
