Three days and nights of non-stop fun! The festival, held biennially, is a celebration of the Granite Belt region's produce and booming wine industry. Arguably Australia's leading harvest festival, it has a successful track record spanning four decades. |

When is it? The next festival will be held in March 2008 on the 7th, 8th and 9th. The Festival lights will be turned on the week before and many of the businesses in the main street will be decorated as part of our “Apple & Grape Windows Competition”. |

Where is it? It's in Stanthorpe, heart of the Granite Belt Wine Region, on the New England Highway just 30kms north of the NSW border. Stanthorpe is less than three hours drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, two hours drive from Lismore and the Northern Rivers, and a comfortable one and a half hours from Toowoomba. |

Who does it attract? Age is no barrier with the Festival, which has a strong reputation for offering 'something for everyone', with the Festival taking on a resurgence of younger participants - 18-35's - in recent years. The majority of visitors come from Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW. Promotions cover this target market of 3.5 million. With the burgeoning wine, tourism, produce and horticulture industries, the potential crowd attraction of this Festival is significant and growing. It is estimated that the Festival attracts crowds of around 60,000 to 80,000 people! |
